He does apologize later for his actions, but even with that bit of retconning the whole thing kind of leaves of a bad taste in your mouth. On the way out the door, the kindly neighbor lady Kazue reminds you to lock your doors and windows because she worries about you living alone. And one day, a handsome man magically shows up on your doorstep and works his way both into your home and your heart... It should be about loving one another enough to stay even when it's hard, not working hard to prove you deserve to stay. And then Maddie sits beside him and lays out this vision of romantic (one that is decidedly romanticized, unrealistic, a fantasy that can't provide any kind of real, stable love, not the kind Buck is looking for). I really like this pairing and, in the end, I can see why Arata falls for MC and why she for him. It was a little better done than in Taiyo’s route, so I’m very satisfied with it.
A realization that allowed Buck to recognize the nuances in intimacy and the way sometimes, even if you love someone deeply, you can't see past the expectations that come with your normal. And he did all this as he literally foreshadowed his own breakdown. How lucky we are that, even crushed under the weight of sadness & grief, we are capable of giving love and joy to other people, and they are often more than happy to give some back. The only two I've read from this title are Taiyo and Arata, and I absolutely adored Taiyo!

If you read the story’s Super Happy Ending during its campaign, then you will unlock the “Collector’s Edition” that will allow you to read the story again for where ever you like without using tickets. This game was surprisingly good and this character wasn’t my first choice. I’m excited to try more of the stories and am happy Voltage is finally releasing another decent game.
It shouldn't be about having to work so hard every day to earn your partner's love. Still, your days with Taiyo are as relaxing as they could be. His warm personality is getting rid of the suffering in your heart and spiking up your energy at work. He reveals more details about his childhood and the two of you just end up growing closer each passing moment, holding hands tightly and going out like a couple despite not being one. After that odd encounter at the beach, the mysterious man somehow managed to arrive at your place at the same time using a different path. Introducing himself as Taiyo Inami he claims to be looking for your grandmother Midori, who used to live in that house before you moved in.
Taiyo's Route
You present the proposal to Mr. Kato, your manager, who immediately shoots it down and sends you on a petty errand instead to the bookstore. You dream about a kind, handsome man hugging you and waking you up in the morning. Your alarm goes off and you race out of the seaside cottage that used to belong to your grandmother, Midori, before she passed away.
While the MC is at work Arata is the one who stays home and takes care of the housework—cooking, cleaning, the whole nine yards. But the game takes it a step further, by having Arata also offer emotional support for the MC—he listens to her vent about her frustrations at work and when she needs a reprieve from the life, he plays the piano for her. Like mostkuuderecharacters he’s a bit gruff about it, and he’s not above throwing a little shade as those types of LIs are wont to do, but when it counts he does go out of his way to make her feel better when she’s down. The company was my first introduction to the world of otome games and over the years I have amassed quite a few stories from each of the many,manyOtome Romance titles they produce.
Arata Yuki
Taiyo is another guy that I would include on my "perfect" boyfriend list. I find myself laughing during his stories because I enjoy the banter and I find it amusing. What's unique about this title as a whole, is that it seems to be one of the fewer older titles that did touch on situations that were more relatable to a more seasoned demographic. I was actually disappointed that it took me so long to find out about it and give it a read! I would definitely encourage others to test it out for themselves and give it a chance, since like you said, it's another one of those titles that deserves more content than it was given.
Now, right about now you’re probably waiting for me to get to the “cringe-y” bits trust me I’m getting there. So, I didn’t like the way the writers introduced the whole living together scenario. Like I mentioned, a prowler breaks into the MC’s house and Arata breaks in to save her and she is so grateful for his help that she offers to let him live in her guest house so he can be close to the piano.
One thing I LOVED is the bedroom of MC’s coworker/friend, Nagi. She likes isopods(??) so she has giant isopod pillows (??) LOL. The pair come to live together because MC refuses to sell the piano her grandmother bought for her. Also, the fact the MC is having troubles at work is not unusual, a lot of us surely had to deal with a boss who ordered us around and never acknowledged our hard work no matter the efforts. Your character is tough and patient despite the anger and pain boiling inside of her, I really appreciated her development and the fact she never appeared like a weak victim all the time.
He initally was just a stray but hung out at the station a lot and so the staff decided to give him his own hat and collar. He is a rather calm cat but dislikes being told he's gaining weight. He is petty, irritating, irresponsible and has his employees run errands for him; often uses these errands in exchange for something else. However, if one is unable to finish this task, regardless of excuses he will refuse to cooperate. Mr. Kato also overlooks people's hard work and without as much look at it, he dismisses it immediately and chooses something else he likes instead.

After her passing, your family found it saddening to see Grandma's big, beautiful home belonging to someone else and so, you took it upon yourself to live there and take care of it. She is also crafty; able to get an assignment tossed onto you so that you were forced to go on a "date" with your roommate . Unlike you, headstrong and impulsive, Nagisa is calm and looks at both sides of any situation. She is the one who helps understand the other person's point of view and will call you out on your wrongdoings.
With all the flashier titles in their catalog, Love Calls You Home is one of their underrated gems. It doesn’t come with all the gimmicks and angst of some of their more popular Otome Romance titles, so it’s pretty easy to overlook this unassuming slice-of-life romance. The only “gimmick” is that a majority of the guys are secretly famous or have lucrative careers. I kind of got the impression that this was what Voltage was going for with their older title, Serendipity Next Door, which has a similar premise. Those bits aside, I did enjoy playing Arata’s main story, the premise was good and the pacing was really well done.
